Just A Bunch of Crazies...

Okay, I admit it. I was VERY apprehensive about having a daughter. I wasn't sure I was equipped to make sure that she got her dose of femininity from me. I never have liked pink, I have never liked bows, and I was very concerned about the whole thing.

Well, I have news. I love having a daughter. I love pink for her. I love putting bows on her. She is so much fun, and I can't believe how much I love her already. She is doing a few more things these days.

Abby has this weird desire to always have something in front of her face. She often manages to get something there, and I always manage to move it. Naptime goes on like this everyday...

Abby has been so lucky to have so many cousins around. On Sunday I discovered this. Mason had his Dad heat up his little warmer over and over again so he could find Abby and make sure that she was warm. So cute.

She knows exactly when I would love for her to NOT go to the bathroom. Every time a "special" outfit makes an appearance, she blows right on through. (Thank you Auntie Abby for her little jammies...I'm sure they are going to recover from their traumatic experience.)

Our little girl smiles at everything. Often I can't feed her because she just wants to smile and talk. This week we had such a fun experience with her. Steve was tickling her for the first time and she let out her first little Davis cackle. It scared her so bad that she started to cry a little. Since then it's pretty easy to get her to laugh, I just loved that the Davis laugh can actually scare even the people who produce it!

And yes, Cooper is up to no good. He is starting to try to say words, and I of course think it's adorable. For instance, the other night we were having a conversation while he was in the tub (somewhat one sided) when all the sudden he started to say "Blah Blah Blah" at me. I at first thought it was very fun and so I started to copy him. It has completely backfired because when ever I try to talk to him now he just says, "Blah Blah Blah". It's almost like I'm being told to finish my story, or he's giving me the "Yada Yada Yada" version of his.

Just crazy.

Congratulations on the new baby (2 months ago)! I just decided to do my annaul look at blogs, and what do you know Steve and Cassie had another baby! That is exciting and awesome and I'm glad everything went alright with the delivery. Life for us is great! Isn't this a nice morning?! Eliza and William and Mary are healthy (no swine flu). Mary is going to school again this summer. She is very excited about it. It will make her very busy. Eliza just keeps growing up. She'll be 3 in June (Crazy cookamonga!) William is a handsome devil! Your kids are so cute! So I love this Cooper guy! Steve, we'd like to have your family over some time this year for dinner. I figure if I do something at least once a year with my friends I can still call them friend (especially considering that we only live like 20 miles away from eachother). I'll give you a call some time to set something up.

Thanks
Baden
