A Little Post For My Trooper of a Husband

This was the beginning. What started out as a cough turned into pneumonia and passing out in our kitchen and a full fledged ER visit.

But, somehow through all of it, he was still Steven. He managed to make the house brighter and keep us all looking forward with positive hearts.

Thanks to everyone who offered support in their own ways. From child care to understanding bosses, I'm so glad we are through the woods and we wouldn't have made it there without your support.

I Found The Easter Bunny

We had such a great Easter, but the most fun part was that Blythe is now smiling with her little Easter Bunny teeth.

Happy Easter!

Go Home....

Every morning, without fail, Cooper says, "Mommy, Chammy?" Which means, where's Sammy? I want to play with him, hit him, and probably run over one of my sisters with him."

I always tell Cooper, he's at home.

Now, whenever Coop is in trouble or bored he says, "Mommy, I go home..."

He wants to be wherever those Javier's are...apparently wherever they are is home.

Thanks for making anywhere seem like home Javier's!

Around here, Milk is king. When Cooper first started to talk, one of his first words was "Nook", which in fact means Milk. So, it sort of stuck and I know we are damaging him, but we have started to refer to it as Nook, and now Abby thinks that Milk is actually Nook. One day I actually spelled it out loud to Steven as N-O-O-K. How embarrasing.

So, Coop's no fool. He loves to have a bit of the white gold as he goes to sleep. He REALLY loves it if he has exhausted all of his other come-out-of-his-room options. So, tonight as we were coming up the stairs he said, "Mommy, Nook?" To which I replied, "No." Then he said, "Mommy, Rawer?" (Water) Again I replied, "No." Then he said, "Brawberry Milk?" I replied, "Cooper, you don't even like Strawberry Milk!" And he said in a jokey voice," How about...Nook?"

He's no fool.
