Spring Cleaning

Anyone want to venture a guess as to what that weird thing is growing up my pantry wall? Well, for those of you who keep your pantry organized, you would never recognize it as an onion that was hidden behind all the tall baking stuff. I have to say that when I first saw it totally freaked me out. Time for some spring cleaning!
(By the way, please don't think we are total pigs...I promise that if I ever feed you or bring dinner it's safe!)

This is freaking hilarious! Having just been in your house, I know that you are not total pigs, and if I lived there, would still eat anything you prepared. I have to say, that's the first time I've ever seen an onion do that before. But I do have extensive experience with potatoes doing something similar to that. It's always shocking to see something so weird, in your very own kitchen.

This picture captures such an awesome moment! I bet you just died! Don't start spring cleaning yet or you might have your little boy a little early. It may sound like just an old wives tale that you start cleaning just before you have the baby, I kept thinking it was until I went into Labor after we had finally cleaned the entire house and every baby thing we owned that very day. I felt way too tired to clean that whole month and then just before I got a burst of energy to get everything done. Sounds crazy, but who knows?

I guessed what it was before I read, and I was wrong! I guessed it was one of those sprout things that grows on old potatoes. Good luck with the cleaning!

That is disgusting! and I have a few questions... How much baking have you done lately? and why is there an onion on your baking shelf?

That is so awesome! I've only seen something similar once: in fourth grade, the last day of school we all were cleaning out our desks (not the cool kind that open from the top, but the ones accessible only from the front and which encourage children to lose things in the back?) Yeah, well, at the very back of mine I found a rotten apple core with a small apple tree budding out of a seed! I can still remember my poor teachers look of disgust as I proudly presented my new found treasure.

By the way, I have no idea who posted about the sprouting apple tree. It says me, but it wasn't! Come forward, my imposter!

Nice, Cassie. How did the onion get behind the baking supplies? I know that you actually do have a really clean house! Are you feeling so ready to have a baby?????
