I can't believe that it's been only a few days since I left home. So much has happened, and my family has been the recipient of so much charity.
My sister-in-law Kiley emailed me this morning to tell me about this awesome button she arranged for us. Thanks so much to Redbud Designs for creating this blog button for my sister's girls. You can see the button on the right of my blog. Whether or not you knew Abby's family, please take the opportunity to pass on the message about family and hope.

I've been reading your sister's blog for over a year now (guess it was more like stalking), and was so sad when I read the news. I burst into tears and I don't even know your family, but I sure felt like I did! I even blogged about it--I just couldn't get over the fact that he was gone and your sister's life was forever changed.
My family would like to contribute to the fund, but since we live in Idaho and Washington, we can't just donate at Wells Fargo without the account number. Will you e-mail it to me?

Someone might have already suggested this, but just in case, I thought I would mention it---
When my dad died a few years ago my sisters were still young enough to get social security through him. But it takes a long time for them to approve the paperwork, so my suggestion is if your family hasn't already helped your sister get started on it then to do so as soon as possible.
I hope that will help! Even though we don't know your sister, we are praying for her and her family.
