Come Listen

Sometimes I wonder how Heavenly Father feels when he has to teach me a lesson about 89 times. Last year at Christmas I learned that special days aren't always about the event itself, but that we are all doing something special together. I love listening to General Conference, but this year was so fun having so many gather to listen together. In the middle of the Sunday session, I was trying to imagine how it must have felt to gather and listen to King Benjamin's address, and I think this year I experienced that a little.

Happy Conference

Someone fill me in on Candy's hair change? Is it really short?

I was just thinking THE SAME THING on Candy's hair! How funny. I heart your big family. Conference is the best.

That was truly fun...nothing was better than that day that week...because rather than conference, I also drawed with my nieces and nephews! I think that's an idea for the Grandparent Retreat, count on it! Love, Tim/Uncle Tim

Oh Cassie...I love your King Benjamin reference...it is so on point. All of our tents, no matter where they might be pitched, were turned toward the source of truth...even with kiddos dashing in and out, poopy diapers, doggies running about, and uncles under blankets...the source of truth blessed us all! Family...please keep your tents pitched toward TRUTH! Love, mom/gma
