He's Two You Say?

We love our Pediatrician. So much. We had Cooper in on Monday for his two year check up. He's about 36 pounds, and he's 38 inches tall, which puts him roughly in the 120th percentile.
We feel so lucky that we had such a great doctor to get us through Coop's struggles when he was a little baby. I think the fact that this poor man would try to take pictures with a screaming child just proves what an amazing kid's doctor he is.
We love you Dr. Hicock!

Cooper's two. I can't believe it. We had such a fun day.
Happy Birthday Baby Boy.

These aren't my shoes...I mean legs.

(Anybody get the quote?)
This girl is way too stinkin cute. But, she definitely did not get my legs...

In other news...I have found the world's best babysitter. Tim. Especially when he's playing Lightening McQueen. I got so much done around the house with only a few shouts of "Lightening!" to be heard.

I'm pretty much cool with anything that keeps my sons attention away from this...

His favorite thing to do since he was teeny weeny. Stuff things down the vent.
Way to go Tim!

Happy Birthday Abigail!

Our little Babby turned 1 this Thursday. We can't believe how fast we've gotten here. We celebrated the beginning of the day by installing Abby's new big girl car seat. She could not handle being able to see out the window, and her dad driving at the same time. She loved it.

We headed over to breakfast to celebrate before my doctors appointment. We ordered pancakes and sausage and things, but the only thing Abby wanted was Steven's hot chocolate. Seriously. She ate almost all his whipped cream, and then continued to be spoon fed his drink.

Even though we knew that Abby considered her hot chocolate the best gift of all, at the doctor's office we found out that her next best gift will be to have a sister in July. We were so excited to find out that we are having another girl!

We headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Daines house later in the day for Abby's birthday dinner. I shouldn't have been surprised that they would go all out, but they totally did. Abby felt so special, and we had so much fun!

Here is Abby with her Great-Grandma Daines.

We feel so lucky to live close enough to share these moments together.

We love you so much, we can't believe you've only been with us for a year!

Sugar Anyone?

Give this girl anything with sugar, and she is over the moon.
