Auntie Candy
We felt pretty lucky when Candy and her kids came to stay with us for a few weeks while their family went through the relocation process. I can see her influence everywhere.
However, she introduced accessorizing to Cooper.
Thanks a lot Auntie!

Buckets
I've put buckets in the babies room to help with toy clean up. Earlier this week after I fixed lunch I called up to the kids to ask if they had put all the toys in the buckets. They said that they had and then came running for lunch. Upon bringing Cooper up for naps, this was what I found.
After finding this today, I'm starting to believe those buckets will never be used appropriately.

It All Evens Out...
Recently Abigail has begun to roll over and spend some time on her tummy all on her own. Candy captured some pictures for me, and I'd like to point one thing out. Notice that she has to use her feet to balance out the weight of her head. Lately her head is looking a little bit wider then her shoulders. (Thanks for pointing that out, Albert!) I just want to tell her...don't worry babe it all evens out.

Tolerated
This little girl loves her daddy. She tolerates me until Daddy gets home...then I'm toast.
What a lucky girl.
Piano Lessons
Starting this fall I'm going to resume teaching piano lessons. Since we've lived here, some of asked if I would teach and I have declined, but no longer! I teach anyone who would like to learn, young children all the way up to adults. I have maybe 3 spots left, so if anyone is interested in taking lessons, please contact me at cassiedaines@gmail.com.

Here!
I've been absent lately...but today I'm here!
I just wanted to post a few of my favorite pictures that my sis-in-law took from our recent family gathering. I'll blog for real later.

Dilemma
I'm sorta tired. I can't decide which I value more. The time in the morning when I wake up before the kids and try to get as much done as possbile, or the time in the evening when everyone is asleep and I can talk to adults.
I can't wake up because I'm choosing to be awake at night.
Solutions?
Anybody?

Happy 4th!
So many pictures, but these are my favorite.
Every time we try a new activity with our kids, I'm always a little concerned about how they'll do away from home, without naps, etc.. They always make me so proud. Here they are after a long day of activities and fireworks. Sweet babies.
Happy 4th!
