Peer pressure can make us do some pretty crazy things.

Girlfriend or Auntie?

Since Coop was really little, he has had a very difficult time trying to determine if the women around him were Aunts or Girlfriends...(Katie, you were the first..)
So, now he's super confused, and it's a little embarrassing to watch.
At dinner recently, Kami was spinning Cooper around and then he would act like he couldn't walk, and look where it got him.

Right back where he wanted to be.

Hot Dog 8 Ways

Who knew children could come up with so many different ways to eat Hot Dogs?

#1- Leave the Bun

#2-Sliced
#2-Wolfed Down
#4-Smeared All Over
#5-Ketchup completely licked off

#6-Shoved In

#7-Bun-less

#8-Drooling and Dreaming

View From the Top

Somehow this...
Graduated into this...

Simple

I think we've all had those days when it feels like we're just trying to hold on to a run-away horse. (If you've never held on to a run-away horse, just imagine it. It feels exactly like you think it would.) We are lucky enough to have cousins come play with us and it's been so fun for Cooper. He's been learning so much from his older cousins, and he's been playing different, wrestling a little too much, (I'm so sorry again, Staci...) and overall just acting pretty crazy.
Yesterday he ran into my room carrying these two things. I looked down and just felt so happy for him. I'm so glad that we have the gospel to keep our household together. And not just for today, but forever.

Some Body

For months now, I have been contemplating a blog regarding my current feelings about my post-baby figure, but I've always been worried about making people feel incomfortable. I always came back around because I felt that it was important for someone to express that having a baby in real life is not like having a baby as a celebrity. There is no way to bounce back from having a baby in two weeks, and no one should expect to. (I'm preaching to myself...) From visiting with other new moms, I know that there are others out there who struggle, and I always felt better knowing I wasn't alone.
So, I was doing some blog hopping today and came upon this post by cjane, and I really felt like she finally put into words everything that I had been wanting to say. Please enjoy.
Some Body (This is the link. Apparently there was some confusion last time...)

Waste Not...

These poor children were watching shows while I was working with the babies the other day, and they asked for a drink. I told them to wait a second (quite a few times) and when I finally got around to bringing them a drink, this is what I found. Sadly the kids found all those water bottles under our bed.

Waste not, want not.

(I thought this picture was too ridiculous not to post. Love you Tori...)

Daddy?

I love this picture...a bit like their dad's perhaps?
