Maui 2013

 Earlier this month we went to Hawaii! We headed over with all the Women and Girls from our Daines side of the family. We had so much fun with our cousins and Aunties, not to mention our Grandma Marsha as well.

We had so many fun opportunities and experiences. We saw dolphins, fire dancers and so many beautiful Hawaiian sunsets. The girls got to experience many firsts, including their first airplane ride!

We played in the ocean, ate shaved ice, and soaked up the sun. We loved it!

Marlowe

We have been having so much fun with our sweet new baby girl!

It is such an amazing experience to have a new child join the family each time. I always forget what an opportunity it is to come to know another spirit so fully. We have already come to appreciate her patient and peaceful spirit. As I type this I see the picture in the post and can't help but smile, she really is the sweetest. (I'm not even sure which one!)

Abby's Surgery

A few weeks ago, we headed over to Sacred Heart for Abby's eye surgery. Everything went extremely well, they were moving some muscles that were working against her ability to see clearly. It was fast, and her recovery went very well. Selfishly, it was very special to have some one on one time with her. We're so grateful the doctors were able to help her. We love our Abby!

Thanksgiving

We had a great day together. We had a quiet morning at the lake watching the parade, and geese with binoculars. After a fun breakfast we took toasty naps and then went into town for our two family dinners. The kids were so well behaved, it was so much fun. We found out on Monday morning that we are expecting a girl in April, so we had plenty to be grateful for. Happy Thanksgiving!

Halloween happened here, I have proof.

We had a fantastic Halloween. Perfect weather, warm costumes, and lots of fun adult food at the end. Seriously couldn't have been better!

Coops

I've been out of town for a bit and today I really miss this guy. He is such a great buddy through the day and I love his sense of humor. He is a great protector and snuggler. I can't wait to see him in a few days...

Type and a Shadow

On the morning of our wedding day, Steven knew that all the formality made me really nervous. So, as I was being prepped by my sisters, I felt him settle next to me and take my hand. It calmed me all morning and through the day. What an amazing foreshadowing this was for me, he hold my hand and keeps me calm. What a miracle!
